Bethany Brokaw
With 21 years of distinguished experience in real estate and nine years at the helm of her own brokerage, Bethany Brokaw brings exceptional expertise to residential assisted living. As a national speaker and educator in real estate who has presented at multiple prestigious events, Bethany combines professional knowledge with genuine compassion.
Bethany's impressive credentials include Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Residential Construction Certified (RCC), Interior Staging and Design Specialist (ISDP), Performance Management Networking (PMN), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), and most notably, Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES). Her Residential Assisted Living Certification further qualifies her to create exceptional living environments for seniors.
Her passion for assisted living is deeply personal. With her father turning 80 this year, Bethany intimately understands the importance of providing a safe, comfortable environment where seniors can enjoy their golden years close to family. Her grandparents, Francis and Nina, were the most influential people in her life, instilling in her a profound respect and compassion for the elderly that guides her work every day.
In partnership with her old
est daughter Madalynn, Bethany has created a premier residential assisted living home that combines professional expertise with heartfelt care. This venture allows her to make a meaningful difference in her community while building a legacy with her family.
When not ensuring the highest quality care for residents, Bethany can be found enjoying time with family on their boat or managing her beautiful AirBnB in Port Charlotte, FL.
Anthony Pizzo
We’re proud to welcome Anthony Pizzo as the Executive Director of Bethany’s Garden. With years of experience and a deep passion for senior care, Anthony brings both expertise and heart to our community. A graduate of Alma College with a degree in Healthcare Administration, Anthony has been dedicated to serving the elderly since 2018.
Prior to joining us, he served as the Resident Care Coordinator at a 65-bed assisted living facility in Troy, MI, where he was known for his leadership, compassion, and commitment to quality care. Now, he's excited to bring that same energy and vision to help open and lead Bethany’s Garden.
Anthony lives in Grand Blanc with his wife and their dog, and is an active member of the community. Whether he’s coaching wrestling or spending meaningful time with residents, Anthony thrives on connection and care. He’s especially excited about Bethany’s Garden’s beautiful outdoor spaces, which allow for fresh air, activities, and peaceful moments.
We are thrilled to have Anthony at the helm and can’t wait for our residents and families to get to know the incredible leader guiding our home.
Madalynn Brokaw
Partnering along with her mother Bethany in this new career path is Madalynn Brokaw. With her grandfather now 80 years old, she noticed how it's getting harder for himself to live alone. He refuses to leave his large home despite no longer able to properly care for it, and watches as he slowly struggles to care for himself. Fueled by a desire to help her grandfather, Madalynn pursued this venue. Being close with him ever since she was a child she knows that the only way her loving, but stubborn grandfather can get the care he needs is if his own family helps provide it for him. She hopes by opening this new care home in the same town as her grandfather's home she can show him just how much of a positive difference moving on from his home would make, so she nor he never has to worry again about housework and self care. Wanting to care for him is a priority in her life- and she knows she's not alone in that desire.
Madalynn Brokaw is embarking on a significant venture in the assisted living industry, partnering with her mother, Bethany Brokaw, who brings two decades of real estate expertise to the table. Madalynn herself has nearly a decade of real estate knowledge under her belt, as well, having been on payroll at her mother’s office since she was only 14. Madalynn shares her mother’s dedication to providing high-quality care and comfortable living spaces for seniors. This initiative is driven by their desire to create a nurturing environment for Bethany's aging father, ensuring he remains close to his family and the town he loves.
